providing comprehensive, in-depth psychological evaluations
We understand the immigration process may be an emotionally charged journey that may create
uncertainty about the future. At Inspiring Hope Counseling Services, we aim to create a comfortable,
trauma-sensitive environment in efforts to reduce the stress associated with this process.

MY EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed to practice in the state of California (LCSW #103817).
I have lived and worked in California’s Central Valley all my life. I am dedicated and passionate about
supporting individuals and families through the assessment and the therapeutic process.

I graduated and received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology with a concentration in development
in 2007 and Master of Social Work Degree in 2010 from California State University, Stanislaus.

I have extensive background working with culturally diverse populations in community health centers
and school settings, serving mostly in underserved communities. I provide services to clients of various
ages including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, with majority of clients being monolingual
Spanish Speaking clients. My clinical background includes experience with individuals who suffer from
anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorders, alcohol/substance use and PTSD. Throughout my clinical
practice I have received training in various areas including Trauma Informed Therapies, Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Addictions Counseling. Additionally, in effort to
provide up to date and evidence-based practice in the area of immigration psychological evaluations, I
completed specialized training with The Immigration Evaluation Training Center and Immigration Evaluation Institute.
